Bill Dambrackas | Chairman

Mr. Dambrackas has served as an engineer, executive and investor in technology companies through startup, IPO and acquisition. He has been issued 9 US Patents and is co-inventor on 3 US Patents. Bill founded Equinox Systems (Nasdaq: EQNX), took it public in 1993 and served as its Chairman, President & CEO until 2000 when it was acquired by Avocent (Nasdaq: AVCT), where he served as Executive Vice President until shortly before Avocent was acquired by Emerson Electric (NYSE: EMR). Bill also served on the Boards of Focus Enhancements (Nasdaq: FCSE) until it was acquired by Vitec Multimedia and on the Board of Quipp Inc. (Nasdaq: QUIP) until it was acquired by Illinois Tool Works (NYSE: ITW).

Kyle Daniels | Director, President & CEO

Kyle Daniels is an aerospace engineer and the inventor, chief engineer and head of product design of the Shutter Valve.  He holds several patents on the Shutter Valve and is an expert in the field of industrial valves.  Mr. Daniels began his career in the aerospace industry with General Electric, Pratt & Whitney and Embraer Aircraft.  He is a graduate of The Ohio State University’s prestigious Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering program, and also received a master’s degree (magna cum laude) from Brown University’s Program in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship. Mr. Daniels is from Miami, FL and has resided in Ohio, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Paris, France.

Bob Williamson | Director

Bob Williamson is a Director and Treasurer of New World Angels. His third failed retirement finds him serving as the Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the University of Miami where he helps faculty commercialize their research. He has been involved in eight start-up companies as a founder, officer, or director. He has a BS – Engineering and an MBA from Stanford. He is a published mystery writer and served as a director and treasurer of Mystery Writers of America.

Steve O'Hara | Director

Prior to becoming an angel investor and focusing on board work, Steve was CEO of Angelica Corporation both when it was public (NYSE:AGL) and after it went private in 2008. Prior to Angelica, Steve was Chairman and CEO of Rawlings Sporting Goods from 1998 through its merger with K-2 in 2003. Prior to Rawlings, Steve was President of Specialty Catalog Corporation. Earlier in his career, Steve worked at Procter & Gamble, CML Group and Kraft.

Steve has served on multiple for profit and not-for-profit boards. Besides serving on Clarke’s board, Steve is also Chairman of the Board of Kairos AR, a facial recognition SaaS provider, and a member of the board at Sunnen, a manufacturer of high precision boring and honing machines. Steve is also a board member of New World Angels and the author of two books – Managing by Slogan and There Are Always Alternatives. Steve lives in Florida with his wife Susan, a children’s author, and together they have two adult children. Steve is a graduate of Harvard College (1977) and Harvard Business School (1979).

Michael Chavira | Director

Michael Chavira is a Principal at Frederic W. Cook & Co., an executive compensation consulting firm. He started at the firm’s New York Office in 2001, and has worked from the Los Angeles Office since 2003. Prior to that, he was an executive compensation consultant with Pearl Meyer & Partners since 1995.

Mr. Chavira advises Board Compensation Committees and executive management teams on executive and board of director pay in both public and private companies. His expertise covers a variety of industries, as well as various corporate transactions such as initial public offerings, spin-offs, mergers, etc.

Mr. Chavira has an undergraduate degree in economics from Columbia University.

Bill Pruitt | Director

Pruitt’s career began with Arthur Andersen & Co. where he remained for 33 years, retiring as the managing partner for Florida, the Caribbean, and Venezuela. Mr. Pruitt is a CPA in good standing and a past president of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

After retirement, Bill continued to be involved in the business community. He was a founder and the first Chairman of Adjoined Consulting, Inc., which was merged into a large public company in 2006. Bill also served on the board of KOS Pharmaceuticals, Inc. until its sale in 2006. In addition, he served as an Independent Director on the PBSJ Corporation Board of Directors from 2005 until its sale in 2010 and on the Board of Directors of MAKO Surgical, Inc. from 2008 until it was sold in 2013. He currently serves on the boards of Swisher Hygiene, Inc. and NV5, Inc., both public companies. Bill also serves on the boards of four privately-owned companies including: Greensmith Energy Management, LLC, Coral Gables Trust, Auxis, Inc. and Clarke Industrial Engineering Inc.
